Sloan Construction Upstate

Freedom Weekend Aloft is a family fun festival in Simpsonville, South Carolina that showcases hot air balloon shows, live music concerts featuring Top 20 recording acts, carnival rides, concessions, and retail vendors for the Memorial Day Weekend in May each year.

FWA has been a tradition in the Upstate of South Carolina for nearly 30 years, and Sloan Construction Upstate got involved for 2008! Ten (10) light plants were provided for parking lots which were located in surrounding pastures and a water truck & driver was provided for dust control on the access roads and in the parking lots.

The event promoters and local officials expressed delight & gratitude for Sloan Upstate's participation and services. It was noted that the event was more successful than in previous years, and Sloan Upstate was considered a main contributor by providing more safe and pleasurable parking facilities than what FWA had experienced.
