Sloan Construction Company has been producing asphalt mixes since 1933. Each asphalt production plant contains the latest in technology, is electronically controlled, and is set up for continuous production of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) products.

In addition, the plants have counterflow mixing drums which thoroughly dry the aggregates before applying lime and liquid asphalt.

Our equipment is very well maintained and reliable and is operated by highly trained professionals who are focused on customer satisfaction and supplying a consistent, high quality product.

Plant operating hours are determined by the customer’s goals and our focus on meeting their specific needs. Normal hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The plants are set up and operated to give the customer efficient service and are structured to be environmentally friendly, in compliance with all agency regulations. Over the years, each of our five Upstate asphalt plants have won numerous state and national awards for safety, operations, environmentally-courteous practices, appearance, community relations, and quality control. Some awards include the National Asphalt Pavement Association Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Asphalt Production.
