Porous Asphalt is an open-graded hot mix surface product that is paved on a clean, free draining aggregate base system. It allows for the drainage of water through the surface and base system and into a below grade stone reservoir wrapped in geotextile, filtering the water & draining it towards a storm water outfall.
It is an environmentally friendly system that can eliminate costly storm drain boxes & pipe or the need for underground retention ponds. This product also reduces road noise when driving on it.
