About Larco Construction

Larco Construction has operated as a division of Sloan Construction Company Inc. since 1998.  From its hot mix asphalt production plants in Winston-Salem and High Point, Larco is a major asphalt material supplier for construction projects throughout the Piedmont Triad region.  In addition to asphalt production, Larco’s construction equipment and personnel are ready to provide complete construction services that include grading, paving, material hauling, equipment maintenance, material quality control, and project management.

The company began in 1898 when Lam Archibald Reynolds went into business with a horse and wagon selling fruit trees to farmers in North Carolina's Triad Region.  In 1947, Lam’s sons drew upon their recent military experience to redirect and expand the business toward construction.  They called the operation L.A. Reynolds Company (Larco).  Their construction interests throughout the years included landscaping, utilities installation, site preparation, asphalt production, and asphalt paving.

Today, Larco has the knowledge, expertise and resources to construct various project types ranging from driveways, parking lots and roadways to subdivisions, highways and airports.  At Larco Construction, our primary focus is to provide quality products which comply with specifications, adhere to budgets, and meet owner’s schedules.
