I-85 Rehabilitation & Cross Slope Correction

This project involved resurfacing 5.3 miles of I-85 Southbound for the South Carolina DOT. The project was completed under live traffic conditions with complex traffic patterns and collector distributors. The scope of the project included the placement of approximately 60,000 tons of asphalt over the course of the work. HRI was responsible for barrier walls on the project. This project received commendations from SCDOT for superior ride-ability, and Sloan Construction received 100 percent of the achievable bonus.
